The publication date for Esperanza is now set for September 2010.

I've gotten a lot of email lately about when the next book is coming out. I changed publishers last year, so my new novel, Esperanza, will be published by TOR books. Esperanza is the first book in what is now a projected trology. Stay tuned!

Running Time

The sequel to Kill Time continues the time-traveling adventures of Nora McKee, Alex Kincaid, and Sunny, the golden retriever. The three of them travel back to one of the darkest periods in Blue River's history, 1695, in search of Nora's mother, who was "disappeared" more than twenty years ago.

     It's in bookstores now.

Kill Time

Imagine it. You're having lunch in a restaurant with your husband, whom you are about to ask for a divorce, when he is suddenly arrested and hauled off. You are told by the arresting offier that you're "guilty by association" and better find an attorney. Twenty-three years earlier, the same thing happened to your mother and you never saw her again. She was "disappeared," just like the thousands of desaparecidos in Argentina and Chile. But disappeared to where?

So begins Nora McKee's journey into the unimaginable. She is suddenly on the run for her life and inadvertently stumbles upon the government's most closely guarded secret. For more than thirty years, the government has possessed the secret of time travel and has been disappearing subversives and dissidents into the past. Now Nora McKee and her former lover, Alex Kincaid, must stay one step ahead of the black ops group that is pursuing them and expose the time travel program.

Kill Time is in bookstores now.

Cold As Death

This sequel to  Category Five and the fifth book in the Tango Key series is now in
bookstores.

In the aftermath of the category five hurricane that devastated Tango Key, Adam Nichols, the teenage son of Oscar-winning actress Suki Nichols  is kidnapped. Suki  hires Mira to find Adam, but the search proves to be more perilous that even a psychic like Mira has anticipated. Every lead seems to take her deeper into the kidnapper's past  and into the history of the house where the Nichols live, a  place haunted by the ghost of a woman  murdered in the house thirty years earlier.

I've gotten a lot of e-mails asking whether Mira and Shep get back together in this book. Yes, they do. And just in case you get the wrong idea when you read the Other News section below, Mira and Shep will be back.
